Johanna began her yoga journey at 6 years old when she started meditating with her Dad. In high school, she became an avid runner and as a young adult, found yoga as a way to stretch and relieve sore muscles. One day, she realized that meditation and āsana were connected and she never looked back.
Over the last 12 years, she’s practiced different styles of yoga, falling deeply in love with Vinyasa Flow, studying and receiving her 200-hour certification from Laughing Lotus in the fall of 2015.
Johanna is an insured, AED/CPR/First Aid certified instructor that teaches from her own personal practices, with a focus on super-fun sequencing, alignment, breathing exercises, meditations, and infusing her love of music into her playlists. She seeks to find the internal light and love within her students to help them move like themselves and connect their bodies with their breath to reach samādhi - ultimate bliss.
