Johanna Maheshvari Mosca, , is a multi-faceted teacher, retreat leader, life coach, author and speaker. Former President of the Arizona Yoga Association, Johanna has been a yoga instructor and therapist for over twenty-two years. In addition to several yoga teacher certifications in the US and India, Johanna Mahesh is a 500-hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. She is also certified to teach the Simple-Easy-Every-Day Meditation (SEED) Method after a 200-hour training at the McLean Meditation Institute.
Following twent-five years teaching English and consulting in NYC schools, Johanna earned two principal’s licenses, then moved to Sedona and camped out for fourteen months. Her passion for yoga and Sedona’s vortexes inspired her to create Sedona Spirit Yoga & Hiking Retreats and YogaLife Academy Teacher Training. Johanna’s retreats were recommended in Sunset Magazine’s “Ten Inspirational Retreats” and featured three times in the Yoga Journal in the past decade. Her first book YogaLife is used in worldwide teacher trainings; her new book Cultivate Contentment was featured on Fox TV.
Johanna resides in Carlsbad, CA, and Cornville, AZ, at a spacious, meditation/ yoga retreat facility she rents to groups coming to Sedona. Her mission is to coach individuals and small businesses to achieve their highest potential and access inner peace, stillness and wisdom.
