After 8 years of service in the Marines, John Baldwin found yoga as a way to manage and overcome his service-related disabilities. Having practiced for 8 years now, and taught for 2, he has led hundreds of classes and private sessions at over a dozen top yoga and fitness venues. Believing that a healthy mind and body is the most abundant form of wealth, John utilizes his personal yoga practice and teaching as a critical component to unearthing this wealth – and helping you do the same. With his balanced approach to stretching, strengthening, and relaxing the body and mind, you’ll find that ultimately, yoga doesn't take time - IT GIVES TIME.

His students are a hodgepodge of young and old, big and small, stiff and limber, strong and weak, native and foreign born, male and female, first-timers and veterans because he believes in the universality of yoga - that yoga is for humans. Through yoga, anyone can improve their strength, flexibility, and mental clarity. All that is needed is time and space to do it - and a knowledgeable guide.

Off the mat, he'll likely be thumbing a musty volume, singing and strumming a stringed instrument, cooking up a storm, commuting or joy-riding on his bicycle, exploring the waves or wilderness, or wrestling with his friends or two teen sons.
