I am a vinyasa yoga instructor based in Yangon, Myanmar; my yoga style is sweaty and playful flow with an emphasis on harnessing inner strength.
As a former management consultant based in NYC and then London, I spent many years casually downward-dogging in hotel rooms, airport lounges, and overflowing Manhattan studios before discovering the larger self-transformative elements of the yoga practice.
In 2014, I gave up corporate life to embark on an adventure with my partner in crime, leaving our East London digs with our beloved English chesterfield sofa in tow to settle halfway around the world in the ever-surprising and chaotic city of Yangon, Myanmar. Just before arriving in Yangon, I completed my 200-hour YTT at an intensive In Bali with Vidya Heisel, founder of US and Spain-based Frog Lotus Yoga, a Yoga Alliance certified program.
I began teaching in September 2014 shortly after arriving to Yangon. In the last 9 months I taught over 200 classes to 400+ students, organized two yoga retreats, led sunrise yoga on-board a luxury riverboat cruise and opened the first English speaking yoga studio in Yangon.
