Jonathan Creamer is a RYT-500 Yoga Instructor with a love for Slow and Strong Vinyasa Yoga, Breathwork, and Sitting Meditation. With a yoga teacher for a mother, Jonathan was essentially raised in her yoga classes in the 70’s. His personal approach to the practice is based on the philosophy of understanding one’s limitations, while using the appropriate yoga tools, props, and patience to enable one to move past those limitations.
In Jonathan’s classes, you can expect long-held postures with room to explore, breathe, release, and strengthen, and a light and safe approach. Jonathan believes that whether guiding a full power class or a more moderately paced hatha yoga class, yoga is a practice of healing and restoration. Students should leave their practice feeling energized rather than depleted and in possession of new skills that better their daily lives off of the mat. Jonathan is especially fond of teaching newcomers the essentials of the practice and is skilled at guiding beginning students into new ways of inhabiting their bodies and breath.
Notable teachers that Jonathan has studied with include: “The First Lady of Yoga” Lilias Folan, Orthopedic Surgeon/Anatomy Expert/Author Dr. Ray Long , FRCSC, and highly-regarded “teacher’s teacher” Chris Acosta. Jonathan is also the Founder of , an online streaming yoga video service which was created with the purpose of inspiring more men to get onto the mat in order to realize the benefits of yoga for their bodies, minds and spirits.
