I am a practising UK registered osteopath and yoga teacher.
I began practising and teaching yoga in 1980 in the Sivananda yoga Vedanta Centre in London, where i was resident until 1984. Inspired by the power of body-work, yoga and meditation to literally change lives I studied osteopathy at the British School of osteopathy in London.
Since qualifying in 1989 my focus has been in developing yoga practice as a therapeutic medium to work with a wide range of musculo-skeletal, medical and psychological issues. I emphasize the importance holistic practice involving body-breath-mind as well as the value of integrating current best evidence when working therapeutically.
I run weekly classes in London and yoga holidays and retreats as yoga-only or in combination with therapeutic, fitness and cultural activities in my native Spain.
