I began practicing Yoga in 2007 with the aim of generally improving my health and well-being. I had no idea when I walked into my first yoga class the profound impact that this sacred practice would have on my life. Foremost, I have experienced incredible personal healing and transformation in many ways and on many levels. Among some of the positive results gained include weight loss, muscle-toning, strength, power, and flexibility. In addition, stress relief; deeper intra-personal awareness, inner peace, and self-confidence. Moreover, I’ve developed greater inter-personal connection to others; as well as, a profound spiritual union with the Divine / Universe.

In spring of 2014, I completed the Registered Yoga Teacher 200 Instructor Training through Yoga Alliance at the Yoga Centre of San Luis Obispo County; and then, began teaching yoga in April of 2014. I’ve been enthralled with teaching ever since! My favorite style of Yoga is Vinyasa-flow.

Yoga has transformed my life profoundly and is an incredible complement to my practice of Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism in the Soka Gakkai International (SGI-USA). Much of the philosophy from both practices reinforce one-another, including qualities such as self-awareness, compassion for others, and transformation.

My aim as a Yoga instructor is to be a catalyst and guide for others to be able to reveal the many benefits of yoga available to them in their own unique way. I’m honored if my life and teaching approach enable learning, growth, and transformation for another human being. Namaste
