A lifelong student of the traditions of India, Josh teaches a soulful, vigorous practice designed to connect students to the transformative potential of yoga. Josh found the physical yoga practice fifteen years ago while living in New York City, and he now trains teachers and leads workshops in the , Brazil, and India. His passion for yoga takes him to India every year, where he continues to study physical asana practice and the rich spiritual traditions that form the foundation of yoga. He feels strongly about service in relation to yoga, and raises funds for various charities through his yoga work. In 2012, he completed 3,000 sun salutations around Arunachala Mountain in South India in order to raise funds for clean water charities in India. A competitive trailrunner and endurance athlete, Josh explores principles of breath, surrender, center, and pacing as they relate to yoga practice and to our lives.
