I'm Joy and I live in Totnes, Devon. I've grown up with yoga and similar practices, so to teach yoga and share the enjoyment of my own practice with you is a real treat. For me, yoga is about awakening and nurturing the body, reconnecting with the Self, relaxing, stretching, strengthening and having fun. It is a practice that reminds us of who we are, where we are from and where we are going. A wonderful way of grounding and deepening into being human and of course a preparation for the ultimate journey of death. My classes are gentle and relaxed, with an asana focus, but incorporating some pranayama and meditation.
