Judith offers her students over 15 years of teaching experience. A certified Kripalu yoga teacher since 2000, Judith’s integrative yoga approach draws on the Ashtanga Vinyasa, Iyengar, and Anusara traditions. Having completed a 40 hour Restorative Yoga Teacher Training at Octopus Garden in early 2014, yoga therapies are Judith’s specialty. Judith’s detailed instruction offers students safe guidance, stress-relief and joyful play. Judith’s prenatal yoga teacher training with Monica Voss and her experience as a mother of two daughters qualifies her to offer nuanced instruction for pregnant yoga students. In addition to teaching yoga, Judith is also a Shiatsu therapist who also practices Thai and hot aroma stone massage. Her fascination with the body and mind and how we as humans can find grace in our experiences infuses her yoga classes with precision and insight. An eternal student, Judith is working on her PhD in Gender, Feminist & Women’s Studies at York University. Her research examines the development of yoga communities and health movements in North America.
