I am an Iyengar Yoga teacher Intermediate level 2 and have been practising since 1992 and teaching since 2005. I am dedicated to passing on my passion and enthusiasm about the deep and subtle changes in body and mind that yoga helps us to experience. The attention to detail and alignment in Iyengar yoga makes it accessible to all levels of fitness and ability. I continue to train with senior teachers, and have studies with BKS Iyengar, Geeta, Prashant and Abhi Iyengar in Pune and in the UK. When I started Iyengar yoga over 20 years ago I wasn't very fit or sporty, but was hooked as I gradually found myself becoming more supple, stronger and centred in myself .I have a background in Art Psychotherapy and love the creative aspect to yoga, which brings us a deep sense of well being. My classes are challenging but fun, and tailored to individual needs. The physical benefits are combioned with a philosophical and spiritual sense of compassion and joy.
