A devoted practitioner and teacher, I am excited to share yoga with others as a way to build mental, physical, and emotional strength and well-being. In my classes, I strive to offer a balance of rhythmic breath-based movement, meditation, and deep relaxation. A lover of many types of movement -- including running, dance, and contact improvisation -- I know first-hand how yoga can help to supplement (or recover from!) other movement practices. As a mother, I also very much enjoy supporting other parents and their children in their journeys toward strength, flexibility, and peace.

Julia is fantastic!

I have been going to Julia's baby+me class since my little one was 6 weeks old. She is supportive, open, flexible and warm. I cannot speak highly enough of Julia. She asks about what you are going through and then brings in suggestions and research and poses that are exactly what you need. And she is beyond wonderful with the babies. Thanks Julia for helping make my post-partum period safe, relaxed and comfortable!
