I teach small yoga classes, both public and private. You'll feel welcome and comfortable and receive individualised instruction which is safe and effective.
My passion is to use yoga and movement to explore the possibility of bringing more balance and ease within. I particularly enjoy teaching people how to minimise the general stress, aches and pains of every day living.
I have a broad background and many trainings in therapeutic yoga, hatha yoga, restorative yoga, yin yoga, Hanna somatics, breath work and yoga nidra. I'm continually learning and researching on a daily basis and stay up to date on the latest discoveries in functional movement and biomechanics. I'm also fascinated by the ancient traditions of mindfulness, meditation and Eastern philosophy, which have such relevance for helping us to survive and thrive our fast paced society.
All the classes work on balancing strength with flexibility; improving posture, releasing tightness, mindfulness, breath awareness and deep relaxation.
