Julia originally found yoga in a path of combining her love of physical movement and her career as an actress. Her practice soon shifted into a search for grounding and focus, and more recently has moved towards a passion for full body health and awareness. Julia received her RYT 200-hour Teacher Training at Back Bay Yoga in Boston, Massachusetts. She is also a 25-hour certified Kids Yoga Teacher through Hosh Kids and teaches students ages 3-18 throughout NYC. Julia teaches & practices yoga because she believes the practice itself can give us tangible tools to use in the betterment of our daily lives. Yoga teaches us how to listen to ourselves and in turn, how to better listen to others and to the world. Julia is committed to giving these tools to her students and teaching them how to use them. Every time we practice yoga, we should encourage ourselves to be challenged, to be creative, to be strong, and to be vulnerable. Julia hopes to encourage and balance these values in her classes by igniting a relaxing, mindful, and fiery practice.
