A certified yoga and Gyrotonic instructor with 10 years of teaching experience. She found yoga at 19, and it has been a guiding force in her life ever since. After spending many years studying dance and gymnastics in which training the body was the primary focus, she is drawn to yoga because of its power to utilize one’s physicality as a vehicle for experiencing heightened self-awareness, greater balance of one’s physical, mental and emotional state, and as a powerful mode for connecting with a force greater than the self. She has studied extensively with Gopi Kinnicutt (ERYT-500), completing her 200-hour certification with her in 2011, and is currently pursuing a 300-hour Prana Flow teacher training with Jessica Lazar and Shiva Rea.
