Study and practice are the keys to my yoga practice and teaching. In 1983 I began meditation practice and in the 1990s - 2015: hatha yoga studies; producing international yoga conferences (Southwest Yoga Conference); founding publisher/editor in chief of LAYOGA Ayurveda and Health magazine; editor in chief Yoga Therapy Today for the International Association of Yoga Therapists; settled on 'styles' of yoga to teach: LifeForce Yoga and iRest Yoga and Meditation. These 'styles' focus on the whole person: body, breath, emotions, feelings, beliefs, awareness and everything just as it is - using pranayama (breathing practices), postures, visualization, meditation, mantra (sound) and mudra (hand gestures) as appropriate for the individual and/or class.

These are evidence based practices and that have been proven to effectively reduce or eliminate: PTSD, OCD, chronic pain, insomnia, chemical dependency, anxiety, depression.
