Julie Sanders, also known by her spiritual name Jot Priya Kaur by many, has been on her yogic journey for over twenty years. However, her life changed dramatically when she began practicing Kundalini Yoga & Meditation as taught by Yogi Bhajan in 2014, helping to guide her like a compass toward her truth and energizing her passion to support, nurture and guide mothers and the next generation. 

Julie is a registered and certified Aquarian Teacher of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, (Kundalini Research Institute, Yoga Alliance, and International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association), certified Khalsa Way prenatal & postpartum yoga instructor, a DONA™ pregnancy, labor & birth doula, and Ayurvedic postpartum and perimenopausal support doula. Intergrading her study and practice of Sat Nam Rasayan meditative healing, Julie is energized with a passion for guiding students on their journey of self-discovery, healing, and self-mastery for sustainable joy and expansion to self, family, and community.

Through Awakening Mother, Julie continues to practice and share lifelong learning while supporting women and helping mothers fully understand their divinely feminine and creative power to bring joy and expansion to self, family, community and the world.
