I've been practicing yoga since 2000 and became a certified yoga teacher through Radiantly Alive in Bali, Indonesia. I have taught yoga since 2008 here in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. I also started and work as the director of the International English school San Juan del Sur Day School. I am a mother of three small children and yoga is my sanctuary, a space to recharge, reconnect and center myself for all the responsibilities off of the mat. I love teaching group classes at Zen, I lead a strong, fluid practice inspired by Ashtanga, Anusara, Dharma Mittra and my own inner wisdom. I do believe that the resting meditation at the end of practice can be the most transformational part of a class, so I like to lead a guided meditation and give my students the time needed to settle into that space of peace and calm that we all need.
