Finding yoga during a difficult life transition, yoga helped carry me through. Coming to yoga during other life challenges, yoga again helped me find refuge to weather the storm. Eventually evolving into a daily practice, yoga has brought a sense of ease, balance and spaciousness when life starts to squeeze. After years of personal practice, I sought to deepen my knowledge and share the gift of yoga with others by pursuing teacher training.

Today I love taking yoga out of the box and teaching in non traditional settings like community gardens, court rooms, breweries, board rooms, custom retreats and private homes. I believe in making yoga more accessible for people that might not otherwise walk into a studio. I believe any body can do yoga and that every body can feel its benefits.

In teaching, I integrate mindful presence with awareness of mental and emotional states while moving through the physical practice. I blend breath work, yin and flow sequences with seeds of yogic teachings for a practice that will continue to resonate of the mat. I was 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified in 2015 and have also completed trainings and workshops with James Fox of Prison Yoga Project (San Diego), Shiva Rae (Esalen Institute) and Krishna Das (Satchidinanda Ashram). I am continuously learning and diving deeper into yogic wisdom while refining my teaching and evolving my personal practice. In September 2017 I will begin yoga therapy training with Phoenix Rising.

Join me in the journey to reconnect to your true self.
