I am a qualified yoga teacher with 17 years of dedicated practice and eight years of full-time teaching experience. I teach dynamic alignment-focused hatha yoga classes for all levels, including beginners courses and gentle alignment classes. I also specialise in restorative yoga and mindfulness meditation and integrate these practices into my classes.
I aim to teach classes with clear, precise alignment instruction and breath awareness to awaken the physical body and mindful presence on and off the mat. I want to enable students to practice asana safely and confidently in a progressive way, adjusted to individual needs. I aim to create a calm and focused space where students can enjoy exploring the poses with full effort, whilst also opening to the inner experience of yoga, cultivating a sense of calm and integration. Students often say things like they leave my classes feeling physically energised, centred and joyful. I hope so : )
