A fantastic yogini!

Having done a few classes in a local hotel with Jyoti as my teacher, and having recently completed a Tibetan Yoga workshop with her, I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone seeking a good yoga teacher. She is a very caring supportive teacher who appears very knowledgeable, and is enthusiastic about sharing this knowledge for the benefit and well-being of her students.

She is aware of how much/little each individual is capable of doing and will give instruction and demonstrate beginner, intermediate and advanced alternatives prior to each asana. She always reiterates the importance of breathing correctly and will guide us through the exercises, reminding us when to inhale, hold, release and I found this truly helpful. She is very spiritual and conveys this to her class leaving everyone feeling connected, calm, relaxed and knowing that they are embarking on a spiritual journey with Jyoti as their guru. She follows up with everyone afterwards, sends inspirational and motivational messages to help keep us on track with our practices.
