Kai Lauridsen has been a dedicated practitioner and student of the Ashtanga Vinyasa lineage since he was 16 years old. Having studied methodology, theory, and philosophy extensively, he aims to teach in the traditional manner of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, while incorporating alignment-based techniques from Iyengar.
His teaching method is grounded by the Eight Limbs and highly emphasises the tristhana method (breath, asana, drishti) to maximise the therapeutic and contemplative benefits of the practice. He has gained proficiency in the Primary Series and currently practices the Intermediate Series six-days-a-week.
