I was previously a professional dancer performing for 16 years in musicals in Germany and London in such shows as Miss Saigon, Beauty and the Beast and Cats.
After hanging up my proverbial ballet shoes I began to practice yoga more intensively in an effort to use my body to find my way to meditation. This led me to complete my first yoga teacher training with Power Yoga founder Bryan Kest followed by a Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Paul Grilley. Since then she has been offering classes, private sessions, workshops and together with her partner, Markus Giess they co-founded Yin Therapy, offering their 200hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training programme in Europe and Australasia.
I am also a trained traditional Thai yoga massage therapist and studied Vipassana meditation.
My style of teaching is authentic, calming and personal, creating a nurturing and safe space for the students to surrender into themselves. My classes focus on discovering the meditative aspect of yoga through melding the breath with the asanas with a strong emphasis on respecting and honouring the unique anatomical, emotional and physical states of the student.
