Karolina’s first encounter with yoga, was in 2003 during her PhD. Working in collaboration with the rheumatology clinic of a large hospital, she was greatly impressed by the use of yoga as a complementary therapy means for autoimmune disorders.
Following a personal injury she decided to turn to yoga for recovery and thus discovered that it is not just a gentle way to keep fit but also an effective means of psychotherapy.
Originally practicing Iyengar yoga, she returned to Greece to try other types of yoga such as Astanga and Vinyasa. She has since studied alongside teachers like Anna Zorzou, Katerina Katsogresaki, Tina Zymaraki and Nikos Florakis and finally decided to complete the YogaWorks®200hr TT with Anna Zorzou.
Her classes include Vinyasa flow and alignments combined with a careful sequencing of asana; they are characterized by compassion, integrity and safety while honoring the uniqueness of each trainee.
