My name is Kate and I am passionate about sharing the beautiful and transformational teachings of yoga and meditation. While I am a yogini at heart, I am also a student, world traveler, cyclist, weight lifter, adventure enthusiast, jungle-jim climber, hiker, foodie, daughter, and a friend.
My yoga teaching is informed not only by my Professional Yoga Training but also by my undergraduate and doctoral training in Kinesiology and Physical Therapy. I use this balanced blend of knowledge to build a nurturing and safe environment in which my students can deepen their experience in the practice of yoga and meditation. By integrating body awareness and compassion for the needs of the heart and the mind, I create challenging and creative sequences that allow my students to explore movement while simultaneously connecting with their deepest Self.
