Kate has been practicing yoga for over 10 years, initially approaching it as a complement to her other athletic pursuits. As her practice progressed, she began to appreciate the meditative aspects of yoga, and it was this combination of physical and spiritual that ultimately inspired her to deepen her yoga practice. Kate’s classes focus on building heat, emphasizing movement with the breath, finding alignment, and being present in the practice. Kate is grateful to her teachers, Rexx and Valerie Samuell, Hari-kirtana das and the many others who have helped guide her on this path. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2013 at the Buddha B Yoga Studio in Washington
