Kate is Great!

As a sound healing and reiki practitioner, I have had the pleasure of both attending Kate's classes and working with her in a complimentary role using Singing Crystal Bowls during her restorative yoga classes.
Her glowing personality and warm disposition help to make her an ideal teacher of a variety of disciplines.
I eagerly look forward to working and practicing yoga with her again. Truly my pleasure.
Thanks Kate!

Yoga with Kate rocks my bod!

I've been attending Kate's yoga classes since she gained her certification in 2012. She's a kind, considerate teacher who understands students have their own limitations and encourages them to practice within them.

Kundalini Oriented

The classes I have taken have been Kundalini focused so it is objective. I liked the breath work and think this is a talent of yours and something you may want to consider pursuing. Your voice and pace is very nice. You are also very intuitive and would like to see more teaching from this place.

I like the teacher to get off the mat. This is the biggest issue with yoga teachers today. In my opinion this is not time for the teacher to do their practice. I like more hands on, less demonstrating, more verbal instruction, and more body awareness type instruction. All personal preference but I believe you have the skills and knowledge to trust yourself as a teacher and come from this place, without notes.
Love your energy and positivity and you clearly love what you do!!

Kate really "teaches"

Kate is a wonderful teacher. She comes for experience and knowledge. The best classes were the ones where she did her research to prepare for class and when taught, (not by the book) it is from a "knowing", knowing that it was the divine order and knowing it was what I needed in my journey and knowing that it would bring about the best results. She is fabulous at Kundalini! It is my favorite type of yoga and what brought us together. once again, not by the book but BETTER! Neta

take me on a journey

Kate, in my experience, is capable of teaching many different styles of classes. I have taken a core based workout style of class leaving me sore the next day, and I have done a gentle flow class that started with breathing that made me trance like, was centered around intention, and finished with a meditation. There have been other styles as well so pay attention to the class title.

Some aspects that are present in most of Kate's classes are her love for the energy creating practice of Kundalini, her focus on keeping with the breath or introducing specific breathing techniques, creating some type of intention or bringing to class something inspiring to focus on, and a spiritual awareness of the practice. Besides the fact that she is such a well rounded teacher with such varied classes you will find her grounded, down to earth, and quick to laugh. All of her classes are non pretentious and planned with care. You can tell she has a passion for yoga.
