500 HR E-RYT // Co-Director of Teacher Trainings at Yoga Travel Tree & Founder of Infinite You Wellness
I began practicing yoga around 1997 as a way to stay balanced and focused during graduate school. I was initially drawn to yoga for the physical benefits, but quickly realized the practice transcended the physical. In 2002 an injury and a health crisis lead me to Ayurveda, yoga’s sister science. It was natural for the two to merge and since that time both Ayurveda and Yoga have been a daily practice.
In 2010 I was drawn deeply to sharing my passions for yoga and inspired to become a certified yoga teacher by two of my amazing teachers. Over the course of the next two years she took two 200hr teacher trainings. The second of which landed her in India to study with Master teacher Anand Mehrotra.
I am honored to be an ambassador for Lululemon. In addition I have over 1000 hours of Ayurveda training and is a certified Ayurveda Wellness Counselor. In 2011 I created Infinite You Wellness with the intention of supporting busy folks to press the reset button, find balance and create optimal wellness through the wisdom of Ayurveda and Yoga.
My intention as a teacher is to inspire students through the practice of yoga and the wisdom of Ayurveda to connect with their own personal power, healing abilities and expansive potential. I teach with a playful spirit and encourages students to find balance among the stillness, joyful exploration and challenge of meeting their edge. Each class is structured as a journey with breath-work and asana focused around a central theme integrating yoga philosophy within the physical practice. Each journey is about celebrating the present moment, regardless of what arises, so life becomes a moment-to-moment experience of the continuous celebration.
I am honored to be both a student and teacher on this path and is grateful for the many teachers in her life. It is through their infinite inspiration and guidance that I discovered life becomes your practice when you breathe with intention, move with grace and seek divine love in all that is.
I's love to see you in class, a workshop or at Teacher Training!
