Kathryn has been practising yoga for about 10 years and holds a 200hr RYT Yoga Alliance Certification and is fully insured. She has trained with Tias Little and Max Strom, and still continues to practise under the guidance of Tias Little at Prajna Yoga. Her practise is deeply rooted in various forms of active and passive meditations.

Kathryn's sessions are based on the principles of alignment, mindful movements and breath work.
Kathryn's basis of teaching lies in a synthesis of Hatha, Iyengar, mindful flow, Qi Gong and somatic movements. Her classes inspire a greater compassion for the self while cultivating a strong mental and physical practise.
Kathryn teaches from a place of intuition and we follow life's prompts as they arise in the present moment.

Through motion and meditative breath, moving from the gross to the subtle.

YOGA & HAPPIER LIVING
Kathryn spent many years living in constant pain because of endometriosis. She has personal experience of managing and overcoming pain through yoga. So whether we are seeking to improve and strengthen our health, creativity or disentangle from the surface dimension of life, yoga will provide us with some immediate results. Other benefits become established with practise over time.

Through yoga we build resilience and learn to embrace life fully, often despite difficulties. It is by aligning with the present moment that true solutions for our troubling times arise.

Kathryn is grateful to all her teachers, those who share her sessions and family who continue to guide, inspire and motivate her.
