Yoga has changed my life in so many ways. Since beginning my yoga practice 20 years ago, I have experienced a deeper connection with myself and those around me. I have a greater appreciation for each and every day. Yoga has allowed me to become more present, focused and accepting of who I am. I love that I can step onto my mat anytime and through a couple of creative movements, gain all the benefits of fitness without wearing down my muscles or joints, and leave my practice feeling light and free. I want to be able to share my experiences with others, that's why I decided to go through teacher training. I am amazed every day with this ever evolving practice and continue to be inspired every day by teachers and students as well.

I teach yoga and barre classes at a small studio in Brentwood. I keep the class size at 8 max so I can give each student the individual attention they deserve. I feel that focusing on form and alignment is extremely important. Students will gain the true benefits of the practice and prevent injuries. It's very hard for one instructor to teach a large class of students with different skill levels. The ultimate goal is to deliver the true benefits and positive results of the practice, acknowledging that yoga is an evolving practice. Each student has a different level of practice, and by keeping the class size small, I can give my students a total workout of the mind and body without jeopardizing their spirit. One of my true focuses in each class is on core strength because I believe a strong core leads to a strong body with less chance for whatever you do!
