Katie Daly's journey with yoga began a few years ago. A seasoned athlete who played tennis and ran throughout high school, college, and afterwards, Katie tried yoga as a supplement to these sports. Little did Katie know what yoga would do for her. After a few classes, Katie was addicted. She was amazed at how yoga could be a great muscular, cardiovascular, and flexibility workout, but at the same time, yoga brought Katie a sense of calmness and peace of mind. A typical perfectionist, Katie gained the awareness of the present and the ability to find acceptance of herself and others through yoga.
Katie truly believes in the mind and body benefits of yoga, and is honored to bring those same benefits to her students. Katie wants to make yoga approachable for everyone, with multiple modifications offered in all poses. As a former dancer, Katie designs classes that are fluid, playful, welcoming, and centered on alignment principles. (And there may be some fun music, too!)
Katie completed 200 hour RYT certification at Onyx Yoga Studio in Warren, NJ. Katie is forever grateful for all of her teachers - past, present, and future.
