I try to live my life by the words of the great Ghandi "Be the change you wish to see in the world". My love for traveling has brought more awareness to the beautiful people and objects in the world, and no matter where I am I always feel home on my mat. I want to share the love i have for life through my practice and students.
I started dipping my toes into yoga in 2004 when I first went to college at Kent State University. After two years I moved to Chicago where I obtained my bachelors degree in Interior Design. I have an enthusiasm for Art and attention for detail. Throughout the 4 years in Chicago I relied on yoga to ground me through the intense schedule of school and work. Now yoga will always be a part of me. When I am not on my mat you will see me obsessing over my dog, Zeus, doing anything outdoors and traveling with my husband, Jimmy.
I spent 4 weeks in May 2015 in India where I received my 200 hour Ashtanga Yoga and Vinyasa Flow certification from Kranti Yoga in Goa, India. In November 2018 I continued my training in where I received my 300 hour Ashtanga Primary Series and Vinyasa Flow certification from The Yoga Bubble in Andalusia, Spain.
My classes are aimed to bring the colorfulness that I captured in India and Spain out in all of my students while going deeper inside oneself through mind, body and soul.
