My yoga path began in my home country, Russia. Later, I traveled to Asia and India where I did my first yoga teacher training in Rishikesh. I continued to practice in the US in the Sivananda yoga center. When I moved to Paris I discovered the Centre de Yoga du Marais and became a happy graduate of their 200h Integral Yoga teacher training program.
During the class, I focus on creating a safe space for beginners and more experienced practitioners to tune into their bodies and explore their minds. All hatha yoga classes include asana (physical postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), bandha (energy locks), chanting, and relaxation at the end. We breathe and move the body to quiet the mind, to uncover our internal resources, to create new healthy habits. Step by step we build a steady foundation not only on the yoga mat but also in our daily life. Yoga is a science that teaches us how to live this life in a balanced and fulfilling way, with more awareness and joy.
I draw my inspiration from nature, meditation, hiking, traveling, dancing, and eating good food.
