Kelley is a 20+ year yoga practitioner who instructs a strong, warm, vinyasa-flow class designed to both work out all parts of the body as well as helping the joints to relax through therapeutic heat. Kelley has been teaching yoga since 2009 and is a Certified Kripalu yoga instructor. She began practicing yoga in her late teens as a way to deal with the stressors of university life and being a single mother. She went on to receive her BS degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Education. Kelley enjoys running, yoga, , kayaking, reading and gardening. She currently teaches 8th grade History and brings to her educational classroom the same balance and structure as she utilizes in the yoga studio. She also enjoys brewing kombucha teas and all natural organic kefir, which she offers for sale. Kelley is currently creating her own line of all natural, organic therapeutic body-care salves, balms & salt scrubs as well as personal hygiene products, which will be available at Downdogz Yoga Studio. Kelley believes in healthy, positive living both inside and out and has a zest for life both personally and professionally!
