I believe that yoga is for anyone, no matter how inexperienced or "not flexible." It teaches us acceptance of who we are -- both on the mat and off -- and drives us toward unity within ourselves and with all living beings. Having used yoga to help recover my own shoulder injury, I'm confident that with a few modifications and special care, people with any number of limitations can reap rewards from this practice.
I teach vinyasa classes with an emphasis on alignment, meaning that classes are a balance of accessible, anatomical instruction, flowing, mindful movement, and just a bit of playfulness. I am a Yoga Alliance-certified RYT-200 instructor with experience teaching studio classes and private and corporate clients around the world.
