Kelly began her yoga practice at the age of 15 with Susan Griego a devoted student to Dominic Corgiliano and Pattabhi Jois. At the time, she was focused on developing her skills as a field hockey player on a international level. Through yoga Kelly was offered a new experience of moving: breath and body connection without competition. Over the next 6 years, yoga provided her with a space to heal from sports and master her chronic physical pain.
Kelly provides alignment-based, flow yoga that focuses on personal healing and care. She has run classes with over 70 students, and uses her ability to connect with others personally to develop powerful, long-lasting relationships with her students. Several of her students have taken her Home Practice series, which allows students to take home personalized yoga sequences for their physical and emotional needs.
When not offering classes Kelly is running Gift of Prana, a non-profit that connects Yoga teachers to School Teachers to provide healing to the adults who dedicate their lives to Bay Area youth.
