Kevin discovered yoga in 2007 after a cycling injury left his wrist immobile, proprioception and balance hindered, and spirit bruised. There he discovered the therapeutic effects of the practice and its ability to cultivate a healthier lifestyle. Over the years, he has been a dedicated practitioner in the Ashtanga method, and more recently explored the Yin and Restorative practices and how they help in Americans in particular with our busy and stressful lives. He is a Yoga Alliance certified RYT-500 and his ideal class is a vigorous vinyasa sequence with mindful movements, posture holds, and a focus on proper alignment to prevent injury and cultivate body awareness and balance.
