Keyla is a Certified Progressive Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and Children’s Yoga teacher. She has had a lifelong love, not only, for body movement and flow ( ballet, jazz, capoeira) but also for the advocacy and wellness of children and families. As a psychotherapist, she has had extensive experience in research, therapeutic and diagnostic services for more than a decade. With a love for neuroscience and psychology, her training and studies have been focused on the human mind.
When Keyla first came to experience Ashtanga Yoga, she fell in love. It provides a beautiful and holistic approach to mind, body and emotional health. For the first time, she found a way to integrated and incorporate what she loves the most into her life and into her work; the science of psychology and yoga. As a dedicated and enthusiastic student she has built a daily practice. As a passionate and mindful teacher, her focus is not only on the asana but, more importantly, on the individual needs of each student.
As an Ashtanga yoga teacher, her classes are invigorating with the intention of taking you further into your practice and deeper into your intellectual and emotional self.
As a Children’s Yoga teacher, her classes are tailored to meet the developmental, physical and emotional needs of each child within a multi-sensory environment that connects to the child’s world.
