Class Description: I like to describe my classes as “moving meditation.” I encourage students to make the connection between movement and breath and to really “listen” to their bodies’ own inner wisdom as we flow into and out of asanas. Each class is an improvised mix of sun salutes, standing and seated poses chosen and sequenced to build strength, stamina and flexibility. My hope is each student leaves class feeling a little “lighter,” more equanimous, and compassionate towards themselves and others.
