I started practicing yoga in 2006 and fell in love with it the first time my feet touched the mat. I started yoga as a way to relieve stress. I was facing the possibility of regular visits to a chiropractor and felt there was a different path for me. I truly believe that yoga can benefit everyone, no matter their gender, size or physical ability. In October 2013, I completed my 200 hour teacher training certification with the Yoga Institute in Houston. I am excited to use my knowledge and love for yoga to help others see how beneficial yoga is to the mind, the body and the soul.
In addition to being a co-owner and instructor at Yoga Kula, my husband and I own computer repair company. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, photography, reading, hiking and watching St. Louis Cardinals’ baseball.
