Kimberly’s yoga practice began in her hometown of Austin, TX during her freshman year of college while facing depression, anxiety, and weight gain. She began to ditch the prescription medications and chiropractor visits for her yoga mat. Shortly after graduating from the University of Texas with a Bachelors degree in Social Work, Kimberly relocated to south Florida in 2011 for a fresh start and change of scenery.
Yoga and fitness is now a lifestyle and Kimberly is passionate about being fully alive, aware, peaceful, and free. People, books, poetry, music, and the sensory perception of life are her inspiration. Her practice is living in the moment, letting each moment unfold exactly as it is without judgment or expectation.
Eight years after discovering the benefits of yoga for herself she completed the 200-hour teacher training program at I Love Yoga Studio with Moses Love and Zayna De Gaia so she could empower her sharing of the benefits and principles of yoga with as many people as possible. In 2015, she quit her full time day job at a busy law office to pursue her daydream.
Kimberly is also certified in Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga, an anatomically optimized form of yoga accessing the deepest core meridian in the body, developed by Sadie Nardini and Tyler McCoy. She teaches Beginners, Hatha, Vinyasa, Gentle/Restorative, Yin, Paddleboard Yoga, and Partner Yoga. Her classes are suitable for newbies to seasoned practitioners.
