Thanks Kristal!

Kristal has been my yoga instructor for about 3 years. Her classes are designed for ALL ages and levels. Beginners feel welcome. For more advanced students, she will que them to more difficult positions. I always leave class feeling better than when I came!

Kristal - Our Yogi

About 1-1/2 yrs ago - I heard about this class in Hartland and I was afraid it would be like some of the others I have tried. The first night I met Kristal and took one of her classes - I knew this was going to be okay. The class atmosphere was comfortable and her teaching made everyone feel at ease. She does so well even with the wide range of ages she is dealing with. She has a fun way of teaching some of the poses, but is careful not to let the class get too crazy. The proof of her success is that we all keep coming back each week and that is a testament to her. (If you don't come back, she calls to make sure you are doing ok.)

She has helped me LOVE Yoga

Kristal has been a fantastic teacher. Due to my knee issues I have had stopped doing yoga. I started taking classes with Kristal this spring and it has been fantastic. I feel better both physically and emotionally. She customizes the poses to my needs and limitations and is always helpful with a hands on adjustment. She has a very calming voice and I always leave feeling more centered and grounded. You would think she has been doing this for years!

Down to Earth

Kristal is the only yoga instructor I have ever known, and I think she is terrific. I refrained from giving her a five star rating because I don't have anyone to whom I can compare her. In my 50s, I have been attending yoga for about a year and a half, and Kristal always helps and gives options without intruding in one's individual space. She encourages and assists very gently without singling anyone out to be embarrassed. At the same time, she is playful, fun and realistic. She teaches new things frequently so we receive a wide range of poses and instruction. I strongly recommend her class.

Kristal's review

Kristal takes her practice and teaching of yoga very seriously. She plans and modifies all of her classes to fit the group to whom she is teaching. She works well in large groups and fosters a feeling of community within the group. Individuals who need physical and spiritual guidance feel very comfortable with her guidance and the sense of security she brings to the group.

Kristal also has extensive experience with private one-on-one yoga teaching and brings her personal, upbeat style to these experiences as well.

Kristal has worked with a close family member in the capacity of a yoga therapist and has created an individualized plan for her that has inspired her to become active and participate in her own well being after many years of pain and discomfort.

I highly recommend Kristal in the group, individual and yoga therapist capacity.

My saving grace!

Kristal is an incredible instructor. I have learned so much about my "self". She is able to focus on each individual in the room while creating a balanced, energetic, challenging and spiritual experience for all. She explains how the poses affect your mind and your body, and how each of us can gain what we need by making simple changes that work for us. She has a great voice to listen to and talks enough but not too much. We work at the pace that is right for us and our bodies and she even asks us what we want to do that day - so the class is always unique. I always leave her class rested, yet inspired, enthusiastic, strong in mind and body and ready for my day!

Welcomes all levels

Kristal creates a welcoming environment for all levels. When moving on to new or difficult poses she explains, demonstrates and offers alternate moves. Being from the 'over 50 ' crowd, I appreciate her injury-free focus. Kristal is very mindful of the stress that a bad pose can cause and is quick to warn how to prevent and make corrections if needed. Her class is energetic and relaxing at the same time.

Fantastic Yoga Instructor

Kristsl provides a thorough workout that hits the entire body. She always provides variations and modifications for the newbie, the experienced and those who have specific injuries/limitations. Her sessions provide a perfect mix of information/education, postures, and meditations in a relaxing, friendly and fun atmosphere. I've tried the big box studios- Kristal outshines them all in knowledge, experience, education, heart and soul. Highly recommended for every level yogi, young and old!

I used to hate Yoga!

For years my MD told me to take up yoga. For years I tried to love it but was always a clock watcher who never had patience for the stuffy and all too serious instructors I kept encountering. Kristal's classes are open and friendly. She can sense & adjust to the mood of the group and makes any newbie feel welcomed. Very safety conscious, remembers everyone's names, their body issues and recommends modifications. Makes adjustments during class either hands on or verbally.

Her private sessions are very targeted and revealing and have helped me immensely. No longer a clock watcher .... actually have my own routine (that Kristal developed for me) which I do at home. Highly recommend her talents to both the serious and the casual yogi! She can meet the needs of both. Karen Bignelli

Caring for all students and for all of the student

Kristal always provides options for our diverse class--diverse in age, experience and ability. She makes us aware of variations according to our individual focus for the evening: strength, flexibility or balance.
She encourages but never forces. She teaches us awareness of our limitations as well as of our abilities. Her good sense of humor and non-judgmental responses allow us to ask questions, express concerns about how our bodies are reacting and encourage a non-competitive camaraderie. The spiritual component of her teaching is ecumenical, accepting and loving.
