Kristin Abel, E-RYT 200, RYT 500, first discovered yoga in 1997, as a way to relieve stress from a demanding accounting career. Along the way, she discovered that there were so many more mental, physical and spiritual benefits to the practice. She quickly became an enthusiastic and dedicated student of yoga, and began teaching in 2004. Along her path, Kristin has studied and practiced many styles of yoga, including Ashtanga and Power Vinyasa, which strongly influence her teaching. Kristin is registered with Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level, and teaches primarily a vinyasa based style of yoga, appropriate for all levels of students. Kristin is the owner of Yoga West Yoga Studio, in far west Houston, near Katy, where she lives with her husband, Chris and two boys.
