Kristin first experienced yoga ten years ago. Since that first encounter, she has benefited physically, mentally and spiritually from practicing yoga and she hopes to share these possibilities with her students. In 2011, she combined her passion for yoga and travel and spent six weeks in Rishikesh, India to complete a yoga teacher training course. Kristin has studied anatomy and physiology extensively and is currently pursuing her Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Southern California University of Health Sciences. She believes that the essence of yoga lies in cultivating a greater awareness of the self and a sense of balance in body, mind and spirit.
