I suffered a lumbar injury in 1998 and chronic back pain had been part of my life since.
I started practicing yoga in 2003 following a severe car crash that left me with a fractured sternum. All my activities came to a halt, as breathing was a very painful. Yoga is the reason I am healthy and active today. My chronic back pain is gone and I am as active as ever, strong, flexible and mentally focused. At 48, my body is serving better than ever.
