Born and raised in Barcelona, Spain, I found yoga while travelling around the world with Disney on Ice as a professional skater in a moment where my physical and emotional state were beginning to fall apart.
My first class was at a yoga studio when we were playing New York City, and I absolutely loved it! I began to do some research and practice with online videos when I could, and I felt a difference in my body and mind almost immediately.
But it was not until I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis a few years later that I realized that yoga needed to become indispensable in my life. I continued practicing, reading, exploring, and learning more about yoga and all its limbs, and it created a desire in me to share what I was learning with others. I began to train with RYT-500 Nichi Green as I incorporated a few yoga basics to my off-ice training classes for skaters and began to teach Vinyasa, Power, and Slow Flow at a gym.
In 2016 I finished my Vinyasa and Hatha 200h Yoga Teacher Training with E-RYT 500 Claire Santos in Miami, FL, and became a RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance. Since then I have been teaching people of all ages and backgrounds also including specialt classes for figure skaters and other athletes, and people with spinal cord injuries.
I have taught yoga in the United States in Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan and Florida as well as in my native Barcelona, Spain.
