For the FOURTH year in a row, I am elated to announce that I was voted as The Independent and Free Press Readers Choice for Favorite Yoga Instructor for Halton Hills!!!!!!

A HUGE Thank you to all those who voted me :) It is such an honor to have your continued support. I look forward to guiding you through 2016

My passion for yoga started after many years of medical issues left me bedridden. Unable to touch my toes, and completely frustrated, it was suggested to try yoga. Stubbornly, I attended every class I could, to prove that yoga couldn't help me.
In 2010, after 5 years of personal practice, I sought formal certification, studying under Mark Laham, Bryan Kest, Maureen Rae & Suzanne Henning. From your standard Vinyasa, Hatha, Power Yoga, Restorative & Pilates, to the wild side of Aerial, Stand Up Paddle boarding and Boot Camp Fusions.

I still love yoga, and continue teaching (and learning) to this day. With over 1000 classes taught, I am now able to touch my toes, pain free & sharing the joy of yoga with everyone I can. I recently became a Cancer Exercise Specialists (CES) & Certified Breast Cancer Recovery BOSU® Specialist (BCRBS) - the only teacher in Canada to hold both certifications, as a way to help others get the same rehabilitative and meditative benefits that Yoga provided me. My classes encourage balance through non-judgment, non-injury, and self-knowledge, while igniting the awareness and intuition of the inner self. Join me for your Yoga journey today!

Lana really cares!

Love everything about Lana's classes. She makes you feel at ease from the very 1st class and is genuinely interested in what you are personally looking for or needing. Challenging, yet not painful, doing what feels right for your own body. Each class is unique, and NEVER boring! Wide range from deep restorative, wall yin, flow, meditation and other things I don't remember the name Looking forward to many more years of classes with Lana :)

From flow to restorative, you’ll be able to get everything you want out of yoga. Her flow classes are never the same (unlike some places....), it is a pleasant surprise each time I show up. Her energy gets you into places you never thought you would be, and truly inspires me to try things I never would have dreamed possible in my round little body ;).

In restorative, Lanas' soothing voice lulls you deeper and deeper into the poses. Leaving me feeling completely relaxed. She is a natural teacher, who exudes a friendly, nurturing energy. She is very personable and attentive. I especially like the one on one instruction.

I highly recommend trying Lanas' class. It's always what I need after a long, stressful day. Treat yourself to a restorative class one evening, you will sleep like a baby afterward.

The best yoga instructor

Lana has made my first experience with yoga fantastic... I don't know that I would still be exploring all aspects of yoga without her guidance. I love going to class.

Not a typical yogi

I've taken Lana's classes for over 2 years.

Her classes can be challenging to the mind, and restorative to the body. She does not pressure you into postures and make unnecessary adjustments.

I think it's very important to note that she does not glaze her teachings with affected mysticism or over-referencing Sanskrit. The class dialogue is encouragement, personal experiences with the postures, and redefining what "perfect movement" means.

Highly recommended for all student levels.

Lana was my hot yoga teacher for about 1 1/2 years and my friend for the most part.
Her classes were enjoyable, challenging and she always added that little bit extra to keep you coming back.
She was always friendly and would answer any questions you had about yoga or anything else you wanted to know.
