Search for inner peace and healing brought me onto the yogic path. I was looking for a practice that will bring balance and restore my body-mind connection, as well as build inner strength and self love.
Discovery of Ashtanga yoga and the emphasize on the powerful breath-movement connection provided me as a tool to a greater self exploration and journey to the soul. Inspired by the Ashtanga method, I embarked to Rishikesh in India, where I studied Ashtanga Vinyasa at Tattvaa Yoga Shala with Yogi Kamal Singh and completed my 200hr RYT.
I am a firm believer that students of all levels can experience full benefits of the Ashtanga method – connect with themselves, go inwards and experience healing and deeper understanding, when yoga is practiced traditionally and where breathe serves as a guide to the exploration of higher states of consciousness. I am currently practicing at Ashtanga Yoga Dubai with my teacher Nea Ferrier who is a Level 2 Authorized teacher. In February 2016 I will be visiting Kovalam, India to practice with David Garrgues and go deeper into my sadhana. My intention is to continue to study Ashtanga system at Mysore, with Sharath Jois at the Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute.
