I began practicing yoga in 2000 or 2001 when a friend took me along to class. I fell out of a pose, laughed, and discovered an ongoing love of yoga. I have been fortunate to have been led by beautiful and amazing teachers in the many years since then.
I completed my 200 level Yoga Teacher Training in 2018 and have found an even deeper love through being able to share the yoga experience with students. My focus is on balance and functionality – balancing ease and effort, striving to learn and grow but finding honor and humor in whatever exists at the moment.
I am also an attorney and have had a solo practice focused on family and criminal law, worked in business for a variety of corporations and firms, and currently work in Compliance at a regional bank. I am a firm believer in pro bono work and the opportunity it presents to help others through sometimes difficult circumstances.
I spend as much time as possible outdoors, and am married with a grown stepson and some furry companions.
