Growing up, Lauren was lovingly but often referred to as a “bull in a china shop”. An athlete all her life, Lauren was always strong. However, it was not until she began to practice yoga in 2009 that she realized the importance of softness and control. Lauren immediately fell in love with the balance of grace, strength, and the feeling of peace that yoga provided her. Through yoga, Lauren began to feel that things in her mind and body made sense.
Striving to enrich her life with more yoga education and understanding, Lauren completed a 200hr YTT with the Radiant Yoga School in Boston, traveled the world studying yoga, Thai massage and acrobatics, and trained under the guidance of many incredible teachers. After returning from AcroYoga Teacher Training in September 2013, Lauren entered the next stage of her journey when she began teaching weekly classes and private lessons.
Whether in the classroom, the studio or out in the world, Lauren is an adventurer. She strives to share that passion for exploration with all of her students, teaching classes that allow for creative expression while building strength and maintaining proper alignment. Lauren encourages students to arrive with open hearts, open minds, and a willingness to move.
